The ORKAN (orkan.tu.kielce.pl) server is intended for project, educational, and scientific purposes for staff and students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatic Control, and Computer Science at the Kielce University of Technology.

The Department of Information Systems allows staff and students to use the GitLab platform, which provides project management systems and code repositories based on the Git version control system. Those interested in creating an account (repository) on the GitLab server can do so themselves (an email address in the tu.kielce.pl or student.tu.kielce.pl domain is required) or contact the administrator directly.

GitLab works with any Git client from the classic git command (console) to TortoiseGit, SourceTree, and other tools. It also supports Git clients built into development environments such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, NetBeans, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code.
